I have a deep respect and appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual, am attuned to their many strengths, hopes and dreams.
My therapy style is often described as warm and structured. I work with clients from a strengths based perspective and explore the removal of obstacles to their well being. I often use creative means of expression to support clients and have a strong background in trauma, attachment, family systems and developmental needs. I utilize the following therapy styles: CBT, Narrative, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Play Therapy.
I use my extensive training to help clients improve their mood, self-esteem, coping skills, and relational functioning. I have worked with children and adults recovering from experiences of abuse and those wanting to stop the cycle of abuse. I am also cognizant of cultural factors that impact all individuals and have experience working with clients of various ethnic backgrounds.
